Overall I was happy with the finished make up look and the outcome of the whole assessment. I managed to arrive on time and be prepared which helped me feel more confident, relaxed and in control of the situation. I started by setting up all the equipment that I will need such as, make up products, brushes, disposable mascara wands, q tips and cotton pads. I made sure I washed my hands before starting the process. I began by cleansing my partners face, then toning and lastly moisturizing it I made sure I do not put moisturized on the nose as that would've prevented from make up covering that area properly. I started by applying the correct color foundation that matched her skin, starting fro the center of the face and working outwards. After I set everything with loose powder using the sponge I moved on to eye make up which was the most difficult part as it required a lot of concentration and focus. During the assessment I kept looking straight into the mirror to see if everything is even and looking how it should. After completing the eye make up I moved on to eye lashed and brows. For the eye lashes I used black super color and disposable mascara wand to apply it. For the eye brows I used foundation to make the eye brows neutral using new mascara wand again. For the lips I needed to used two colors to create the desired look I started with the black super colors and lined the lips filling the only half way, leaving the middle blank. The middle of the lips needed to be red so I grabbed red supercomputer and filled them in. I made sure everything was blended properly including the foundation, I blended it to the neck and ears. The only concern that I had was that in pictures the red super color on the lips did not appear as red as I wanted it to be, it was more pink, as well as the red eye shadow on the eyes was looking a lot more pink than red which did make me a little bit disappointing. Overall I was happy that I managed to work with somebody else's design and try to recreate it to the best of my ability even if it wasn't perfect I'm still happy with my time management skills as well as make up application skills.
